Manage Video Capture Devices

Open and configure your cameras and video capture devices.

Right click the video control window for receiving a context menu. The menue has following entries:

Device

Show the built in device selection dialog. In this dialog, a video capture device can be selected and its video format and frame rate set.

Import IC Capture Configuration

Import an IC Capture configuration file (*.ICCF) for one video capture devices. This makes it easier to handle regions of interest on the sensor to keep the images small.

A dialog, that lists the video capture devices configured in the ICCF files is shown for device selection.

The ICCF files are not loaded automatically at program start. If an ICCF file was imported, it is converted to IC Imaging Control 3.4 device state XML files and saved for next IC Express start.

After the import of an ICCF file, the video capture device properties, such as frame rate (see "Device") and other properties (see "Properties") can be changed.

Properties

Show the built in property dialog. In this dialog, all properties like exposure time, gain, white balance etc. can be adjusted.

Live

If a video capture device is valid, its live stream can be started and stopped.

Set Prefix

Each video capture window can be marked with a prefix, e.g "Left", "Right", "Top" or what ever makes it simply, to identify the images of a video capture later in the saved files. The prefix will lead the image file names.
