A Quick Guide to The Imaging Source's Board Camera Families
37 Series
USB 3.1
USB 3.1 single-board cameras - imaging for virtually every machine vision application
As with our 37 series industrial cameras, the board-level versions feature Sony's Pregius and STARVIS sensors - the first sensors developed by Sony especially for industrial applications. These USB3-Vision and GeniCam-compliant board-level cameras deliver excellent image quality suitable for demanding machine vision tasks - making them a cost-effective solution for a range of applications such as intelligent traffic systems (ITS), optical inspection, medical engineering, logistics and more. The cameras' small footprint (with PCB dimensions as small as 30 x 30 x 15 mm) and reversible Type-C port allow for easy integration into space-constrained designs.

27 Series
USB 3.0
The 37 series predecessor
The Imaging Source 27 Series USB 3.0 board cameras feature reliable CMOS sensors from onsemi with resolutions from 1.2 to 10.7 MP.
These board-level cameras produce a high-quality video stream and high frame rates. Hardware features include digital I/O strobe, binning and ROI. Cameras from the 27 Series are also available as housed cameras.
27 Series 2 Series (One4All)
USB 2.0
Single-board cameras ideal for cost-sensitive USB 2.0 and OEM applications
The Imaging Source's USB 2.0 board cameras feature onsemi CMOS sensors with resolutions ranging from 0.4 to 5MP and are the perfect choice for very cost-sensitive USB 2.0 machine vision projects. The small board-level form factor creates maximum flexibility for a wide range of space-limited applications. Equipped with a broad feature set (e.g. binning, windowing and high-speed readout), these cameras deliver a substantial reduction in image noise levels and provide exceptional image quality even in poor or fluctuating lighting conditions. Specific models are available with a variety of input, output, strobe and trigger options. Cameras from the 2 Series are also available as a housed cameras.

25G Series
GigE
GigE Board Cameras
These GigE board-level cameras offer small PCB dimensions (45 x 45 x 20 mm) and are perfect for a wide variety of industrial automation, quality assurance and surveillance applications requiring a GigE interface. In addition to unsurpassed data transmission and cable lengths of up to 100 meters offered by the GigE interface, performance-enhancing features available on the CMOS cameras such as binning, windowing and high-speed readout, dramatically reduce image noise levels.
