A Quick Guide to The Imaging Source's Industrial Camera Families
38 Series
USB 3.1, GigE
Full-feature industrial cameras for modern imaging applications in factory automation and ITS
38 Series cameras feature newest Sony Pregius and Pregius S CMOS global shutter sensors - the first Sony sensors specifically designed for machine vision applications. The cameras are ideal for intelligent traffic systems (ITS) requiring a large field of view as well as in high-speed machine vision applications such as production and factory automation.
All 38 Series cameras offer advanced feature sets including external trigger control, advanced readout functions (ROI, subsampling readout, multiple frame set output) as well as image and color processing (e.g. LUT, gamma, white balance, color correction matrix, hue, and saturation).
38U Series 38G Series 37 Series
USB 3.1
Single-board cameras ideal for cost-sensitive and OEM applications
Equipped with high-performance Sony Pregius and STARVIS sensors, The Imaging Source's cost-optimized, single-board, 37 Series family offers several form factor variants, providing a flexible customization concept for systems engineers and OEMs.
These streamlined, standard-feature cameras offer a reduced hardware footprint and are available in an industrial-grade housing with optional Hirose hardware trigger and I/Os board-level form factor also available. With frame rates up to 539 fps and resolutions up to 12 MP, the 37 series serves as an adaptable platform enabling efficient and cost-effective customized solutions for system integrators and OEM applications.
37U Series 33 Series
USB 3.0, GigE
High-performance imaging with the widest selection of sensors
The 33 Series portfolio offers the widest selection of CMOS sensors from Sony and onsemi. With resolutions from 0.4 MP to 20 MP (frame rates up to 539 fps - more than 1000 fps with use of ROIs), this full-feature camera series delivers a value-driven imaging solution for nearly every machine vision application. Available with either a USB 3.0 or GigE interface, these area scan industrial cameras deliver high-performance imaging in a lightweight and compact form factor.
In addition to standard sensors, the 33 Series also includes industrial cameras featuring Sony's Polarsens™ 4-way polarization sensors (color and monochrome). These sensors improve contrast, reduce glare and enhance the visualization of transparent objects via on-chip polarization technology.
33U Series 33G Series 27 Series
USB 3.0
The 37 series predecessor
27 Series cameras are compact, cost-optimized, single-board cameras. This USB 3.0 camera family features a variety of onsemi sensors with resolutions from 1.2 to 10.7 MP. Hardware features include digital I/O strobe, binning and ROI. Cameras of the series are also available as board-level variants.
27U Series 23 Series
USB 3.0
The 33 series predecessor
The 23 Series is a compact industrial camera family and the predecessor of the 33 series. These cameras come with a variety of features including input/output, strobe, and trigger options via an external 6-pin Hirose port.
23U Series 2 Series (One4All)
USB 2.0
Tried-and-tested design: our most cost-effective imaging solution
The Imaging Source 2 Series (formerly One4All series) of CMOS color cameras is the perfect solution for applications requiring a cost-effective USB 2.0 imaging solution. Cameras of the series are also available as board-level variants. The compact cameras deliver high image quality and offer binning, windowing and high-speed readout with reduced image noise levels. With resolutions ranging from 0.4 to 5 MP, these robust digital industrial cameras are ideal for standard machine vision applications requiring a USB 2.0 interface.
