The Imaging Source's 38 Series camera families (GigE and USB) feature Sony's 4th generation Pregius S sensors, delivering high-resolution, distortion-free images at an excellent price-performance ratio.
Pregius S sensors feature a smaller pixel pitch of 2.74µm (higher pixel density), allowing for high-resolution sensors on smaller chips. For the first time, Sony has added its back-illuminated structure technology to its global shutter sensors, creating a wider incident angle and improving sensitivity and saturation performance.
